A Democrat's Lament Arizona Straw Poll

Look to the right for the Arizona Straw Poll Democrat's Lament style. Please choose the candidate that you are most likely to vote for in the Arizona Presidential Preference Primary on Feb 5th.

I have eliminated undecided to push leaners and sorry no Kucinich.

Hilary is missing from the choices on who to vote for on february 5th - if you add her, I will vote for her.

List Hilary as a choice, so I can vote for her on your poll for who I will support on February 5th.

You do know that her last name is Clinton, right?

Yes, I know her last name is Clinton. Her voting record compared to Edwards and Obama,
the largest contributors to her campaign, and her track record for the past 35 years. I have also researched Edwards and Obama as well. I have a check list for my top 5 issues and none of them have anything to do with last names, race, gender, or political parties.
My number 1 issue is the economy.

Hillary 08 - lets get back to a strong economy, record job growth, and the surplus we need to promote National Security, Health Care, Education and investments in new technology so the wars like Iraq will no longer be necessary.

Here is the problem with everything you just said (besides that fact that it is just a campaign talking point) repeating the notion that you have 35 years of experience does not make it relevant. Sure there is probably some value in her time as first lady, but would anyone argue that Barbara Bush is ready to be President? She is claiming 35 years of experience, but she was finishing law school 35 years ago. Spare me, I can read…

Secondly, there is very little difference between the three candidates on issues.

Thirdly, the President has very little to do with the economy. Other than changing some of the tax structure and balancing the budget (both of which will be nearly impossible) is about all a President can do. I for one do not believe that Hillary will spend political capital on those things. For the most part, the President cannot do a lot to improve the economy, but they can do a lot of screw it up.

I think Hillary would make an ok President, but frankly I could do without four or eight years of Republicans foaming at the mouth at the prospect of more bimbo eruptions by Bill. He has more than proven that impulse control is not his strong point and that he values his prurient impulses more than the good of the country. Do not get me wrong, I don't care what he does, but when they get in the way of getting important things done, then they are too distracting to be tolerated.

At the end of the day, I want less drama. 8 years of Clinton and 8 years of Bush have left me tired and hungry for something or someone less craven, more honest, but mostly just someone who does their job and leaves the rest of us alone.

Look...

I support Senator Obama. Now...this does not mean that I think Hillary Clinton is the anti-christ. I simply like Obama. Listen to his recent South Carolina speech. Now...if you don't get chills well...I guess you should re-evaluate some things.

Thanks...

Also...in case you haven't noticed Hillary Clinton is a divisive figure. You either love her or hate her. Senator Obama? Well...you either love him or you haven't heard his speak yet.

Seriously...what is best for our country is someone with a global perspective, someone who brings out the best in us, and someone who is not in debt to the insurance lobby.

What else is there to know really? Voting for HIllary CLinton simply because she is a woman follows the exact line of bigoted reason as NOT voting for her for the same reason.

O8AMA!
